Prepare the Rice Base
- Spread the uncooked white rice evenly across the bottom of your greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Assemble the Chicken Rolls
- Place a slice of ham on each chicken breast, then roll them up tightly. Wrap a slice of bacon around each rolled chicken breast. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
Arrange in Baking Dish
- Place the bacon-wrapped chicken rolls on top of the rice in the baking dish.
Prepare the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, water, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
Pour Sauce Over Chicken
- Evenly pour the sauce mixture over the chicken rolls and rice in the baking dish.
Bake the Dish
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Ensure the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
Serve and Enjoy
- Remove the toothpicks, if used, and serve the Chicken Las Vegas hot, spooning some of the creamy sauce over each serving.
Notes
This recipe is versatile and forgiving. Feel free to experiment with different types of cream soups or add your favorite herbs and spices to make it your own. Remember to check the chicken’s internal temperature to ensure it’s fully cooked (165°F or 74°C).
