Method
- Prepare the Baking Sheet
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Melt the Chocolate
- Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue heating in 15-second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Crush the Potato Chips
- Place the potato chips in a ziplock bag and gently crush them into medium-sized pieces. You want to maintain some texture for that satisfying crunch
- Combine Chocolate and Chips
- Mix the crushed potato chips into the melted chocolate, ensuring they’re well-coated.
- Spread the Mixture
- Pour the chocolate-chip mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it into an even layer, about ¼ inch thick.
- Add Finishing Touches
- If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top for an extra flavor boost.
- Chill the Bark
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
- Break into Pieces
- Once set, remove the bark from the refrigerator and break it into pieces of your desired size. Store in an airtight container.
